Care for the Congregation and the Community is what being a Deacon is all about. It is the duty of the Deacons, first of all to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and any who may be in distress. The Deacons are the Care Givers of the church both within and beyond the community of faith. They coordinate and assist with providing for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the congregation and for those in and around our community. This can mean paying visits and bringing casseroles to those in need, or sending birthday cards just to share in the celebration of another year. The Deacons are a dedicated and busy group of people.
A congregation of faith
Phone calls and emails are sent to those in the congregation who have indicated a desire to be prayer advocates. Call the office at 860-4114 during regular business hours, or email the church at firstname.lastname@example.org
During services, please fill out a yellow card in the pew pockets and place in the offering plate. These will be shared with the congregation during our "Joys and Concerns" segment.
